Insider’s Guide to the Caribou Tower Pigeon Hunt

Freshen up your wing-shooting skills and get the dog back into their prime with an afternoon of fun. The Caribou Gun Club with its vast knowledge and experience in driven shoots have a tower which the birds will be driven to flight, over the field. Shooting positions, or “pegs,” will consist of two hunters per peg.  An exception is a youth or woman hunter may be added to a fully paid peg for $50 to join in the fun and gain shooting experience. To increase attendance it is recommended to reserve an entire peg for two shooters. Single hunters will be strategically paired with another single hunter to make this a fun and positive event. A rotation system during breaks in the shoot to new shooting positions or pegs will be determined the day of the shoot. We recommend a minimum of 8 boxes of shells per gun on this fast-paced driven shoot.

Note: We also are in need of retrievers and handlers to retrieve the game at this shoot. You are welcome to self-handle while you shoot, or if you know someone who would like the opportunity to have 30-50 retrieves for their dog, let us know! We must have the dog handler’s name and phone number.
